Schumacher Traction Elevators are designed for medium to high rise buildings having over 50 feet of travel, where quality performance and high speeds are desired. Schumacher Geared Elevators are designed to operate with speeds up to 350 feet per minute. Schumacher Gearless Elevators are to be used when speeds are greater than 500 feet per minute. Schumacher Traction Elevators meet and exceed all requirements set by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
