Schumacher Geared Traction Elevators are available in custom sizes or various pre-engineered models with various capacities. Pre-engineered models are available in capacities up to 5,000 lbs with both front and rear opening models and speeds up to 500 fpm.

One–end open elevators in seismic zones two or greater require an additional 2” hoistway depth.
Two–end open elevators in seismic zones two or greater require an additional 3” hoistway width.
All Schumacher Elevator Company Geared/Gearless Traction Elevators meet or exceed all requirements set by the American Society of Mechanical Engineeers (ASME A17.1).
